Got 340 as well. That exam was extremely difficult to me, nothing like the mcqs from Gleim.

Yes, same here. Practiced all the questions from Gleim, however the real exam questions were not like in study material. Hopefully will be able to clear the test in Jan window.

I appeared for the test in Jan window and cleared Part 1. I used the same Gleim material this time and repeatedly practiced all the available MCQ's and it worked out. So those who did not make it, please practice more and don't lose the hope.

Yes the essay questions opened for me. Unfortunately though it was on topics that Gleim did not prepare me well for. I felt like Gleim was heavily focused on other topics that were not heavily focused on the exam. And the mcqs I was maybe confident about 10 questions. It was very difficult. Was surprised when the essay questions opened actually.

Alyssa, I'm so sorry.  340 seems very close, too.  Can you say what topics Gleim didn't cover that were on the exam?  I'm nervous -- I'm using Gleim now to study for Part 1.  Wondering if the AI model that Gleim uses doesn't give you all the questions you need...

Gleim covered the topics, it just wasn't heavily tested through the mcqs for me. Like went over it once, answered the section questions, moved on and didn't see them ever come up again. Forgot about them. Well at least the pools of mcqs that I had practiced over the course of months towards the exam didn't have that topic come up again. The mcqs that were generated for me were heavily tested on other topics and unfortunately I didn't see many questions on the topics that I felt like I was practicing over and over. Maybe I didn't study right though, I am doing a different approach for the next exam.

I guess that's why this exam is so difficult is because there are a TON of topics that you need to know thoroughly, it's difficult to remember them all.

MCQS will not be repeated .So we should understand the core concept well.Practice just with MCQS will not work and we should read text well before answering MCQS .

    Thanks

Well, understanding the concept is first and foremost requirement to start solving the MCQs. However, speed and accuracy plays an important role to crack the test. We have to complete 100 MCQs in 3 hours accurately and to achive this, practicing as many as MCQs are essential. Before attempting the actual test if we take atleast 15 practice tests of 100 questions which emulate the actual test and we are continuously scoring above 90 percent, then that is the time to give real test.

Essay section will open only if we perform well in MCQs and that is the indication that we know material and concept well. If we do well in essay we will pass the test. Essay answers should be short and straight to the point of questions asked.
