As we take a moment to acknowledge the passing of almost Quarter 1 of 2024, it's clear how fast the time flies. This realization serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of staying focused on our goals given the rapid pace of life. We need to consistently reflect on our progress and recommit ourselves to our objectives for the rest of the year.

Staying focused is the key to staying on course, especially when faced with diversions and difficulties. By making our goals a priority and effectively handling our time, we can make certain we move ahead steadily and stay consistent realizing that every small step forward brings us closer to where we ultimately want to be. We can get through the busy months and come out winning at the end of 2024.

I'm curious how do you monitor your advancement towards the goals you set for 2024. What do you do to keep tabs on your targets and see where you stand?

Thanks for your message. A couple of reactions from my side: 

• I feel like it's quite busy and I can't find the right moment to take a step back and look at where I am with my 2024 professional goals/plans
• Probably, I am a bit behind schedule either due to ambitious objective-setting or not being able to keep up 
• Factors like the rapid pace of change and increasing level of uncertainty adds complexity to the picture, it's become more challenging to set up solid plans
• Luckily, we have IMA and its leadership program which provides a decent structure and amazing opportunities (such as the discount for the DE&I certificate)

Linked to the last point, I was wondering if similar encouragements for the IMA Global Accounting & Finance Conferences could be offered. It would be very nice for us to engage with the broader community and also to meet in-person.

On your suggestion to extend similar support to broader community engagement, such as through the IMA Global Accounting & Finance Conferences.

Right now, there is early bird pricing (through April 12th) for the IMA24 Global Conference June 9-12 in San Antonio, TX.
