Retired after a forty-year career leading accounting and financial operations in both corporate and not-for-profit environments, primarily in smaller organizations. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Currently serving on the IMA Sustainable Business Management Committee; IMA Committee on Ethics, 2018-22; IMA Global Board of Directors, 2014-2018; Chair, IMA Investment Committee, 2015-18. President of the Stuart Cameron McLeod Society, the IMA-affiliated organization that promotes education in management accounting, supports students through conferences and scholarships, and advances the profession, 2010-11. Board member and Treasurer of Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), 2000-03; member, Inova Heart and Vascular Institute Philanthropy Leadership Council; Founding Member, Vauxcleuse Hobnobbers.
