❇️ Thursday, September 04, 2025
❇️ 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time
❇️ 1 hour
The session will focus on planning in
global
manufacturing organisations and will be presented by
Dean Sorensen
. Dean is the founder of the IBP Collaborative, a consultancy that helps manufacturing and ⚙️ supply chain ⚙️ driven organizations to transform and integrate their planning and performance management ("P&PM") processes to achieve dynamic cost, profit and value optimization. Dean has previously worked at A.T. Kearney, Accenture and KPMG. He is a 🇨🇦 Chartered Accountant and is also certified in production and inventory management [CPIM] by APICS.
Effective Finance Transformation should result in dynamic FP&A processes that optimize costs, profits and value. However, in most global manufacturing organizations ("GMOs"), this rarely happens – even when FP&A processes are combined with Integrated Business Planning ("IBP") and / or Sales and Operations ("S&OP") processes and solutions. A key problem is that FP&A solutions
lack mature planning capabilities
that can cope with the
complexity of GMOs.
What's missing are the type of "fully integrated" planning models found in modern supply chain planning. These models enable processes that:
✅ Deliver one executable plan
✅ Achieve cross functional alignment
✅ Support cross functional trade-off decisions
✅ Forecast direct cash flows, working capital & FX exposure
✅ Quantify how products & customers affect cash flows & profits
✅ Enable enterprise-wide scenarios that leverage prescriptive analytics
What differentiates FP&A and modern supply chain planning solutions is that the latter are specifically designed to support these objectives. Embedded planning logic and structures provide incremental capabilities that FP&A, S&OP and IBP processes and solutions lack.
This webinar will examine the following about these "fully integrated" processes and models:
✴️ How they differ from 🔢 legacy FP&A and S&OP / IBP solutions
✴️ How incremental capabilities can yield ‼️ 10x to 50x total ROI ‼️
✴️ How they enable 🌳 ESG, integrated reporting & thinking
✴️ What organizations must do differently to 💰 capitalize on them
✴️ How non-manufacturing organizations can leverage these processes
Registration is mandatory to participate.
