Small Business Shared Interest Group

Welcome to the IMA's Small Business shared interest group (SIG)!  We're excited to launch this new platform where we can share thoughts, ideas, and best practices for small businesses with all of you.

I've volunteered with IMA in different capacities for many years now, and I'm really looking forward to my newest role as leader of the Small Business SIG.  Over the course of my 20+ years working for a regional, mid-size CPA firm in the Philadelphia suburbs, I've helped my clients with a variety of issues, many of which are not accounting-related.  There is a common theme in that many of these issues seem to stem from one main cause - a general lack of resources.  One of the main goals of our Small Business SIG is to provide these much-needed resources to help you and your small business succeed in today's ever-changing global business environment.  As a member of this group, I look forward to being a champion for small business!
