  • 1.  Power Bi/Data Warehouse

    Hi All,

    Our company is starting to use power Bi for analytics and I'm looking for any recommendations as far as training/learning goes. I'm looking for structured training not just watching YouTube videos. If you also have any recommendations on setting up a Data Warehouse, such as resources/software and what worked for your company, please let me know.

    For structured training in Power BI, a good place to start would be Skillwave Training. Its founding partners include two acknowledged data analysis experts, who are also two of my personal Top Ten go-to resources for dealing with data using Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI: Ken Puls of Excelguru and Matt Allington of ExceleratorBI. They offer several different options for training, and have put out some excellent books, including Master Your Data with Power Query and Supercharge Power BI.

    Guido Geerts is one of the smartest instructors out there.  It is not just "push the button" training but understanding the concepts.
