Hello. I am delighted to share that I have passed both parts in my first attempts. Officially a CMA :)
I would be really happy to help anyone if you who is pursuing the CMA and has some questions.
    Feel free to ask.

Congratulations!! Well deserved. I'm preparing to take the cma exam and I can tell it is not an easy task.
Did you take the exam in a proctor center? What program did you use to prepare for the exam?
What are your recommendations as far as approaching the questions and the essay?

    Thank you for your time,

    Monica Molina

@Monica Molina Thank you Monica!! I took it in a proctor exam. I didn't want to take the remote testing because I might have faced network issues etc..

For part two I used Wiley and for part one I used becker. Both of them were really good and helpful, they have a good test bank, videos, and books. But I can tell that videos of becker were much better than wiley, because the videos of becker covered all the material unlike wiley's videos.

My advice is to always solve as many practice questions as possible "for both mcq and essay". The exam support package "retired questions" provided by IMA was really helpful, I had to go through all their questions, and they did help me a lot for the exam because they are somewhat related.

Keep in mind that time is tight in the exam, thus I first started answering questions that would not take much time, and i left the long ones for the end. This approach helped me to save time and I managed to finish all MCQs with 15 mins remaining.

For the essay part, I highly advice you to go through all the retires essay questions in the exam support package "around 30 essays part one" & around 20 essays part two", they will be more than enough.

Thank you for your feedback Ali! I will take advantage of all the practice questions and essays offered through Wiley and IMA. You are right that is the only way to get better and familiar with the problems.
Great recommendation regarding tackling the easier questions first.
I will be taking the test in a proctor center as well. I don't want any risk of disturbance at home. My goal was set for the October test date but my progress has not been as fast as expected. I will keep studying and practicing for a few more months b fore signing for the exam.

    Thank you again! And congratulations!!
