  • 1.  Part 2 Studying Strategy

    Posted 13 days ago

    Hi everyone,

I successfully passed the first part using the Hock Passmap study system. I completed all the units, watched all the videos, and answered all the MSQs, achieving an 80% score on two practice exams. Additionally, I completed around 300 external MSQs from other sources.

After finishing the first part, I took a few months to focus on my career as I was moving to the US and needed to secure a job before continuing my CMA journey.

I began studying for the second part in the last 10 days of December 2023 and scheduled my exam for February 29th, 2024. Recognizing that the time was limited, I dedicated three hours of study every day. I managed to complete all the videos, solve all the MCQs, and summarize the main contents for a final review on exam day. Three days before the exam, I spent the entire day practicing my time management skills by completing a 100 MCQs session.

During the exam, I reached the essay part, indicating that I answered at least 50 MCQs correctly. I wrote extensively in the essay section, even though I was not familiar with some aspects of the essay questions.

I am planning to schedule my exam for the end of June. I have already gone through all the materials and feel very familiar with the content.

What are the advice/studying strategies I should take to ensure I pass the exam?

    Dear Zaeed:

I understand you.I'd like to give you some advice about my learning experience.

It is possible to study while working.

According to your own time arrangement, the question type practice as the focus, to ensure that every knowledge point can hold. Doing practical exercises is the focus. Make sure you have enough time to do the test.

Comb the knowledge points once a week .

Block out your study time each day and make the most of it, including the time you spend on the subway or gargling in the morning.

      You can do it.
