    Hi,

I heard that if my membership gets deactivated in case I choose not to renew it for particular year, Ineed to re write the CMA exams to become member again. Is that true?

    Hello,

In order to complete your certification and become recognized as a CMA, you are required to maintain your membership.

    Thank you.

    Hello Tom,

I think the question is what is needed in case a member fails to pay the annual fee and wants to restore their membership later: would they need to take the exams again, or just pay the late dues and any potential fines. Thanks.

    Hello,

No you don't need to take the exams again. For details on how to maintain your CMA certification, please see the CMA Handbook: https://www.imanet.org/en/IMA-Certifications/CMA-Certification/CMA-Handbook

    Thank you.
