Sustainable Business Management Shared Interest Group

The ISSB published its Consultation on Agenda Priorities on May 4, 2023.

The IMA Sustainable Business Management Committee IMA.SBM.C will be preparing a response to the ISSB's Request for Information on Agenda Priorities.  The Committee's response will refer to the IMA Statement of Position on Sustainable Business Information and Management. 

Questions for our community members:

In creating the ISSB, the IFRS Foundation asserted that it would bring its significant know-how on standard-setting to move ESG reporting from a voluntary system to one that is more reliable and robust.  Are they succeeding?  Does its priority items in the agenda consultation, if adopted, further this mission?
Are the needs of corporate teams -- building internal capacity -- well considered by the agenda consultation?
Are the ISSB and IASB collaborating as promised to eliminate the siloed approach and move toward connectivity?

Please share your perspective on the ISSB document, items that would be valuable for IMA bring forward in its comment letter.

IMA must submit its response to the ISSB by September 1, 2023.
