This is an interesting piece of information. While it may be true that some content of the certificate needs to be updated, I believe the foundational content would need to be changed. I found that getting the Sustainability Certificate helped me identify areas where I might need to learn more. I believe such information is one of the values of earning a certificate. Keep in mind that any certificate is based on the current thinking at the time you earned it. Updating the content of any certificate does not provide much benefit for those that earned it in the past. Rather, it ensures relevance for those that want to earn it now. You cannot simply stop learning once a certificate is earned. The goal should be to keep learning.

Subject: Evaluation of IMA Sustainability Business Practice Certificate
Hi all,
I am approached by several stakeholders who are potential candidates who are pursuing ESG certificates or course providers who are looking for potential ESG products. They have provided their insights of ESG certificates currently in the market and of IMA's ESG certificate. I think their voices are worth serious listening. So I gathered their feedback and compiled a brief evaluation report. Although all these feedback are based on China market and may be biased because of sampling, they might inspire us on how to refine our ESG product and achieve better market performance. Discussions are more than welcome.
Cheers,
Jude Zhu
