Its not about the mark its about 50 questions you should make correct sometime 290,300 marks wont be enough to go essay even less mark if you corrected 50 no of questions you would be eligible to move to essay this is the way its work .

I took exam in September window but my essay section didn't open to me i thought that I am not good enough in mcq's but yesterday my result came I score 280 in mcq's out of 400. But this score enough to move essay section or not.
