Has anyone heard of the Corporate Racial Equity Standards Alliance (Corporate Standards | Corporate Racial Equity (corporateracialequityalliance.org)).  They are publishing a set of standards for Corporations to adopt, and appear to have some reasonably good corporate support.   They have standards that are out for public comment, but I believe it is the second or third phase or set of standards.

They are actively looking for comments and participation in their efforts.   I have met with some of their leadership and found their efforts credible and well thought out.   They are interested in learning about internal controls and risk management from the accounting community as they pursue implementation of their standards in organizations.

I'd encourage members of this group to look at their work, and consider whether engaging with them may be a beneficial relationship.

I'd be curious about your reactions and observations on this organization and their work.

Larry - thanks.  I have not heard of them, but agree that this should be a discussion topic for the DE&I SIG.  Thanks for sharing.

Hi Larry, also new for me. I think main focus is US but I did take a look at their business standards and that can indeed be a very helpful framework for leaders to tackle DE&I improvement. The standards speak about aspects within the company, within the community and across society which resonates a lot with what European regulation is now trying to achieve with the CSRD and enforces that you go bigger with this topic. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Larry.  I wonder if any one who is a member of the DEI SIG has an interest in engaging with this group.  Lets keep this discussion going.
