CMA Contacts/Friendship

    Hello everyone, 

    I am Melvin. I live in the USA. I don't know any students doing CMA in the USA. I wish to have contacts from the USA. Kindly reply if you are a student doing CMA in the USA.

    Hello Melvin,

    Your CPE requirement will not begin until 2024. The CPE Requirements and Rules document on the IMA's website says, "The reporting period begins on January 1 following successful completion of the examination. The period between successful completion and the following January 1 is a grace period. CE is not required during this period, but any CE earned during this period can be counted as being earned in the first reporting period."

    Hey Melvin, I am in GA, USA. Taking part II of my exam in Feb. 2024. I failed my first attempt in Sept. 😒, hopefully I get it done this attempt. I have failed my first attempt at part 1 but passed it the second time. I do not know many CMA candidates either in the USA. I know some managers of mine that have their CMA, but thats all. Most people I know goes for CPA, but I am not going back to college to get my masters, lol. Anyways, let's keep in touch, via email, whats app, etc.

    Hi Melvin,

    Philly, PA/NJ here, good luck on taking the CMA exam if you haven't done so already.  Been certified since April 2021, thank you Covid for giving me lockdown so I had no distractions while studying, lol.  I did pass Part 1 on first try, but failed Part 2 once, then immediately took it again during the following testing window and passed.
