Jeffrey Sampson

Account Manager- Becker

Jeffrey Sampson, Account Manager for Becker Professional Education, has over 35 years of Higher Education experience in both sales and administration.

He has successfully helped students at public, private and proprietary colleges and universities throughout the country achieve their degrees and career goals. As a Becker Account Manager, Jeffrey has assisted students to effectively prepare for the CMA and CPA certification and licensure.

Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing-Management and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from CUNY Baruch College.

Jeffrey often quotes, “a goal is a dream with a deadline-what’s your deadline?”



Alexandra Graham
Professor Relations Coordinator & IMA Chapter Coordinator- Gleim

Alexandra has been with Gleim Exam Prep for 7+ years and she has a passion for educating students about various accounting career paths and certifications.

Alexandra graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in English.

In her downtime, she plays on two American Poolplayers Association (APA) teams and regularly attends local and national billiard tournaments. Alexandra also enjoys skating, basketball, volleyball, and many other outdoor activities. She also considers herself a huge Florida Gator fan!



Tom Kubishta
East Regional Director- Wiley Efficient Learning

Tom Kubishta is the East Regional Director for Wiley Efficient Learning. Tom has been involved in Professional Education and test prep for 15 years.

Previously the majority of Tom’s career was in retail Marketing and Operations, working with Staples-The Office Superstore. Well- travelled, Tom has worked in 15 US states from coast to coast and lived and worked internationally in Hamburg, Germany and High Wycombe, UK.

An interesting tidbit about Tom, he has never taken more than “principles of accounting”; but on a dare, he sat for and passed a section of the CPA exam.

Tom is also a commercial rated pilot, and a certified flight instructor (CFI) and spent several years in higher education as a flight instructor and adjunct professor.



Ephraim Martey (CMA- pending experience)
Incoming Audit Associate for KPMG

Ephraim is an incoming Audit Associate for KPMG and a Graduate student at Brigham Young University pursuing his Master of Accountancy in Audit.

He was among the first group of students to graduate from Ensign College with a bachelor’s degree and was the valedictorian at the graduation ceremony.

Ephraim is also a Gleim student representative and an IMA student ambassador and enjoys being associated with and representing an organization that helps him make better life decisions.

Originally from Ghana, he has been in the United States for five years and loves the availability of technological advancement that makes work more effective and efficient.

He interned with KPMG and has a long-term goal of assimilating and utilizing the concepts he has learned from the CMA certification exams to help KPMG position itself strategically to be the best professional service firm.



Bernice F. Jenkins, CPA, CMA, MBA, Macc
Senior Accountant at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama

Bernice Jenkins has worked as a management accountant for over 20 years across multiple industries and geographical regions. She began her career with the General Electric Company (GE) as a graduate of two of GE’s financial leadership development programs: Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff. Jenkins has spent the last 13 years in multiple roles as a senior accountant and finance analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.

Ms. Jenkins is the chair of IMA’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee and also serves on the IMA Global Board. Additionally, she also serves as Financial Literacy Director for the Southern Region of National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) to help revitalize NABA’s financial education programs across the region.

Bernice graduated from Tuskegee University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has also earned an MBA and MAcc from Samford University.


Zach Hoffman, CPA
Audit and Assurance Manager at Deloitte

Deloitte Audit and Assurance Manager, 7 years of experience out of the Long Island Office.

Primarily serves commercial consumer products, e-commerce, and telecommunications companies.

Experience in serving clients going through Initial Public Offerings and Special Purpose Acquisition Company merger transactions.

Graduate of University of Delaware, Class of 2015.
