I strongly recommend that you keep your in-person session. I had switched mine to remote, attempted to take one part, but the power in my laptop went out when I had completed about 90% of the exam. I called Prometric and was told to reboot my computer and that the exam would pick up from where it had crashed, but when the second remote proctor came on, she said that the IMA instructions told her that she had to terminate my exam. The IMA was kind enough to allow me to schedule a retake, but it was a very stressful situation, and the only way to obtain assistance from the IMA for most issues is via email, which does not foster quick response times.
Also, if you take it remotely, you are only allowed 4 sheets of paper, in total, with no replacements. When I took part 2 in-person, I replaced my paper booklet 5 or 6 times, so if I had taken that part remotely, I would have run out of paper quite early, and would have had almost no chance of passing.

Has any one recently rescheduled their exam to remote exam? May I know what's the procedure for the same?
Thank you
