I took and passed Part 1 last year (barely). The multiple choice was kind of hard, but they had a variety of questions. The essay questions were hard. Some straight calculations and others about financial statements. One that stumped me was analyzing a business. I don't think I can get into too much detail on what the questions are. But if you practice a bunch of various essay questions it will help with whatever they throw at you. A couple of tips for the multiple choice, that you might have heard of, is always choose an answer. Even if you're not sure; go back if you have time. And read the last sentence of the questions first. Bc they will provide a bunch of details that you won't need. And the actual question is usually at the end. So if you know what they're asking can filter the information with what you need as you read along.

I used the Wiley Efficient Learning System and it had everything. There were multiple choice questions, mock exams, videos lessons, and flash cards. There was also a list of hot topics that are most likely going to be tested on the CMA exam in the 11 Hour study module. I attached an image of the list that they gave me. The book had practice essay questions. I went through them two or three weeks before the exam to review the entire course. I didn't focus on section E or F that much since the IMA website stated that they were only 30% of the exam. Everything else was fair game.
