    Hi Everyone:

I would like to get ideas or mentor's advice when studying the CMA exam vs working a full time job. Does anyone struggle with this? Does anyone have ideas on how to make the two work together in order to get enough study time for the CMA exams?

    Sincerely,

Commit to 1 -2 hours every weeknight and give up the idea of free weekends until you've passed each part. Plan on dedicating 4-6 hours a day each weekend day. It worked for me for Part II and will hopefully work for Part I when I sit for it in the May/June 2020 window.

    Good luck,
    Joseph

I would say study 2/3 new and 1/3 review material. About 3 hours a day to cover all the material before the exam.

    1) use elaborative encoding
    2) active recall
    3) spaced repetition

Recall material from memory, check to see if you are correct, and repeat until you can recall the information / do the problem from memory.

    Hope this helps!
