    Since 90% of units produced passed final inspection,
    The equation of production as below:
    470 + 90%P = 6300 + 590
    P = 7133

    Hello Nabil,

    I would like to add another tip which can be helpful to clear any confusion in many cases like this short one. 

    - Solve the equation without considering the term of 10%: ....... Production = 6,300 + 590 - 470 = 6,420 units of 100% passed production
    - Apply the 10% term on each given answer: (90% passed)
    a) 6,890 x 90% = 6,201  (X)
    b) 7,062 x 90% = 6,356  (X)
    c) 7,133 x 90% = 6,420  (√)

    I have seen many MCQs in exam support package & Wiley test bank which can be cleared by using the same technique.
    It is kind of using our soft skills to find out the correct answer during the exam, rather than choosing the wrong one or making a guess.
