Did the CMA part 1 today, for the first time, but after the MCQs it showed the survey, so is there a chance of passing ?

    Hello Majdi,

It is very hard answer to tell, but still you need to know the truth in order to learn from this experience.
Unfortunately, receiving the survey screen after MSQs section means you didn't answer 50% correctly of MSQs to be qualified for essay section.
On 18 Feb I have posted an article called "Very important "live" exam tips" after I had the same situation of yours. I recommend you to read it and let us share or experience together in order to prepare ourselves very properly for next & final try.

It would be my pleasure to receive your comments.

    Kind regards

Will wait the result and see, so it's not that I answered all of them correctly and does not require the essay 😁 Anyhow I have read your tips already before my test date they helped me and will use them in my second try if I didn't pass.

    Thanks

If you don't get at least 50 MCQ right, then your can't go on to the essay portion. So if you didn't get to essay. That means that you didn't pass unfortunately.

It's still possible to fail even with the essay portion.

Well maybe the ones answered have a weighted score sufficient to pass, you never know till the result comes.

I sat for Part 2 during October 2019 and passed first try.   Here are a couple thoughts regarding preparation.  You can expect the MCQs to be a mix of theory and calculations.  Know the material, focus on your weak areas, and have an exam strategy that will maximize your time, so you can answer ALL the MCQs.  My strategy was answering all the theory questions first, as the calculation MCQs generally take longer.  Next, answer the MCQ calculations that are easiest for you.  Passing the exam is equal parts preparation and time management.  Good luck!
