It would be perfect when you can utilize what you have learned from college & CMA in your career life. The most proper path to do so is working as an accountant, accounting clerk, finance assistant ..etc. regardless of what position you may have in the beginning as "fresh graduate", what matters is the job description, the future growth of your position in the organization, and mostly the experience you will accumulate as a Certified Management Accountant.
The objective you should seek is transforming your knowledge and experience to create added value to your self first, then to work, department & company. That's will be most efficient when you become a Finance Manager, CFO or Senior Executive board member.
IMA requires at least (2) continuous professional experience in management accounting or financial management. But these positions need a few years of accounting ground work in order to reach the level of a decision maker (What CMA is valued for).

Hey guys!
I will be graduating in April of 2020 and have started to look at jobs. What type of jobs fulfill the experience requirement for the CMA Certification? I think the experience is needed within 7 years of passing both parts (if I remember right)?
I've passed Part 1 of the CMA so I was hoping to try to find and accept a job that would fulfill the experience right away.
