    Hi all:

    I am the controller for a large nonprofit funded by government grants.  We are looking to make a change in our software for financial purposes and are interested in Accumatica and Blackbaud.  Accumatica appears to have the bells and whistles we are looking for but none of us are familiar with it.  Blackbaud we have some familiarity but customer service had been an issue in the past.

    Do any of you have experience with either of these and could let me know your thoughts on their pros and cons?

    Hello Veronica - I am the CFO for a relatively small NPO, budget 23,000,000.  We use Blackbaud only for our donor database and have consistently had customer support issues.  Based on that alone, I certainly would not recommend them!  Have you looked at any other products besides Accumatica and Blackbaud?  I am looking for an accounting software  too.  We have a large Behavioral Health outpatient component as well as other grant and government funded programs.     Veronica,
    We are a large private school in Houston and have been a Blackbaud customer in the accounting office for 17 years. Our development office has been using Raisers Edge for more than 30 years.
    We love the accounting module (Financial Edge) and just this year have moved from our own file servers to being hosted by Blackbaud. We really have no complaint about Blackbaud's customer service. So I recommend that you reach out to your Blackbaud rep and let them address your customer service concerns.
