To avoid postage cost, we have increased our use of emailing, rather than mailing, invoices to customers via our ERP system. However, due to the limitation of our ERP system and human error, some customers have received the wrong invoice. Several customers complained our their pricing vs. one of their competitors. Our pricing model is based on sales volume. The higher your sales volume, the lower your sales price.
Regardless, for those of you who email invoices to your customers, what safeguards do you have in place.
