  • 1.  Measuring the financial impact of relocating stores...

    I work for a restaurant chain that consists of both Company and Franchise-owned restaurants.  From time to time we make decisions to close or relocate stores where we cannot agree with the landlord on lease factors or that might be underperforming.  Does anyone have a template or a procedure used to analyze these sorts of transactions after the-fact?  We're trying to determine how the overall financial impact of closing one location might affect a nearby location's sales and profitability (1-2 miles away).  Any thoughts and/or feedback would be helpful.
