    Hi All,

    Can anyone Explain I appeared for my test part 2 today and had an issue? 
    I completed 100 Questions but it was showing me 88% on top of the screen and showed me an error message twice. 
    I clicked for Next but, still, there was 88% and I was not allowed to essay questions.

    Can anyone explain Please?

    Hi Hayat,

    You should answer at least 50% of MCQ correctly in order to get the essay section, the 88% figure you received in screen message means one of the followings:
    1. There where a system error (The real percentage was 48 or less but you have seen it 88)
    2. You have left some questions "Not answered" equal to 12%
    3. The 88% answered questions didn't accumulate the required correct 50% 

    All these scenarios don't make any sense to any of us, so the only way to know is by contacting IMA support center. For sure they have an answer to your case.

    Sorry to hear this story, but it is not the end at all. Many candidates have failed once & twice, but finally they got passed.

    Thank you so much for the details explanation.
    Yes, I asked the invigilator and showed it to him but he told me this 12% for the essay exam. I also asked about the error. 
    I was 100% sure and checked twice that 100 MCQs were marked but it was showing 88% progress. It showed me 2 times error. but it was not moving from 88%. 
    I will contact support service they may have a better explanation.
