  • 1.  Timing of issuance if CMA certificate

    Hi all, 

    I just took my CMA Part 2 on Oct. 30th. No idea if I'll pass or fail but in case I pass, due to my education and work experience having been approved, how long after one passes is the CMA certification actually issued? Is it immediately or within a certain timeframe? Eager to add those credentials :-) lol

    Hi Elena,

    You don't have to wait for your certificate in the mail. Your online profile should be updated within a day or two if not the same day. You will see your certificate number in your online profile and will likely be able to add an acclaim badge on LinkedIn within a day or two after receiving your passing score.

    I also took Part II on October 30th and am super excited to see a passing score.

    Hopefully we both passed!!!

    Wish you the best on Part II Elena. I took Part II in Sept, results should be here within the week. Hoping for the best. Past Part I in Feb, but fell just short on my first Part II attempt. Hoping for a successful result on my second attempt at Part II. 
    Lisandro is correct, your credentials and cert # should be posted rather quickly. I had heard that the actual certificate takes about 2 weeks.

    Hi Don. Thank you. Much luck to you also. I certainly know the feeling of falling short on a test from a decade ago when I was taking my CPA exam. It is not the most pleasant of sensations. I really hope you get to celebrate before thanksgiving. Keep us updated! :-)
