Hey,
Good day,
For my both papers I have used only the basic 12 DIGITS calculators. And I never felt slow. Because I had used this one from the beginning.
And what am recommending is , use the same calculator which you have used for the preparation. Because you have to be familiar with the calculator otherwise it will make you slow in the exam.
So, do not buy any new calculator only for the exam if you already completed the your preparation. Or if you are going to start the preparation then go on !!!
And as per my knowledge , the only advantage of this calculator is calculations related to NPV. But you have to learn how to use it.
I hope you got my point :D
Best wishes for you Exam,
Mohammed Risal Ep.

Subject: Calculator to use
Good day everyone,
I am curious about the better calculator to use for the exam. I only have the very basic one and am contemplating buying one like the TI BAII Plus mentioned in the CMA Handbook as an approved calculator. Any thoughts on which calculator to use for the exam? I would appreciate any feedback on this.
Thank you very much,
Rebecca
