Formula Sheet?

  • 1.  Formula Sheet?

Is there any where I can find ALL the formulas on a single sheet to study. Rather than flip through the entire book or summaries? Preferabbly for CMA Exam 2.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Not sure you can find it or no but it's not recommended though. a basic theory will always be handy in understanding the full concept.

For part 2? I put something together that has 80+ formulas in Excel on one sheet and another with some quiz tabs if you want it.

Hi All, I never completed the file with all the information I set out to obtain but I think it will be helpful.  On the Quiz tabs there's a toggle in cell A1 to show or hide the formulas.  I would print one with and one without to quiz and review.  The study tab will randomly select formulas and you can press the answer button after you have thought of the formula to review.

Some of the formulas you may find slight variations of how they are worded, net sales vs. revenue etc. but most if not all of them should be the formulas that would be tested on the CMA exam.

Yes thank you! So are you an official CMA or still testing? Im starting to get test anxiety. I went backwards and started CMA part 2 first. I have a CFE and saw the ethics portion and thought it would be easier for me to start and Part 2 first. Hope I dont regret it because now I read Part 1 helps with Part 2.

I am not a CMA yet.  I passed part I and sat for part II in early September.  I'll get my results in mid November.  Part I did help with part II in some areas but I can see the reverse happening too.  Overall I felt more comfortable in part II because it's more in my wheelhouse.
I used the Wiley material and online course.  The IMA also sent out an email in August for a free prep analysis by Surgent that I thought was very helpful too.  Stick to a plan and schedule and it will come together.  I went pretty hard over 4 months to get it on the 1st try.  Hopefully it was enough!

Could you send a copy to craigc3814@... I am sitting for part 2 at the end of the month and made some formula index cards but I have no where near 80 cards.

    Arvin,
On CMACoach.com they have a bunch of the formulas listed in videos. You could copy and paste them https://www.cmacoach.com/category/part-two/a-financial-statement-analysis/financial-ratios/

Cmastudy.com has a free resource of a 4 pager with all relevant formulas. The company is run by Nathan so Google around for it, if needed

Hi its better to make your own summary so that at the same time you will be revising them but i don't think you will find such a sheet .                                    Thank you
