    Hi,
I have the Gleim CMA prep books from 2012.  I never took the exam back then but am scheduled to take them in 2021.  Should I purchase new study books?  Has the material changed a lot?

    Hi,

I gave my exam in 2017 with study material of 2014, I was blank at the Time of exam due to change the way questions were asked. then I bought 2019 material and appeared in October 2019 and cleared the part 1. so I would suggest to update the study material and get the latest one. contents have been updated, removed, added in the new edition.

    Good Luck.

    Regards,
    M. Usman

    Hi Muhammad,
Are the MCQs lengthy i mean is 1 & half min enough to read and answer them, some of the questions in test banks are so long that it really gives a doubt that will I be able to attempt maximum . can you guide as you have already attempted and cleared.

    Hi,

Agreed, some of the questions at the time of exam are too long to handle, the way to tackle them is that instead of reading the entire question top to bottom, read from the bottom to see what is actually being asked from you in question, then read the question top-down, this will save your time and you will be able to pinpoint the required information in one go.

Most of the time, these questions are way simpler than they look.

Well I would recommend to buy the 2020 edition material bcoz an entire new section has been added in Part-1, and few old topics are also omitted from the old syllabus. As we know the margin for error is less in the exam, we should be on the safer side.

    All the best
