Results day!!

    Hi guys,

    Understand from random websites that results of exams taken in Jan 20 will be published starting from tomorrow. (13th to 19th Mar)

    Hello Amith,

    I would recommend to give it some extra few days, since IMA has clearly announced that essay grading process needs extra human involvement & efforts.
    Estimated time between 4 to 6 weeks starting from 1st Feb means you can expect the result to come up during the next 2 weeks

    The results timeline is not 4-6 weeks. It is 42 days after the last day of the month in which you took the exam. If you took the exam in January 2020, results would be in on March 14th. I don't know how that works being that it's a Saturday, so yes, results will likely be in today or Monday.

    Hi Abigail,

    When IMA said "Approximately" 6 weeks, didn't mean a precised date for results. According to IMA hand book am supposed to receive my performance report on 2 Mar because I had my part-1 exam on 17 Feb. Why I didn't receive any report until now ?? That is "Approximately" (Even if we count working days only)

    It's 6 weeks from the end of the month, not the day you took the exam. I'm assuming you meant January 17th. So your results should be available 42 days after January 31st, which is March 14th. I have taken the exam before. Results are released just as I said in my prior post.

    I know it is 6 weeks from the end of the month (Since I have attached that support document), but when you fail to pass the MSQ section you are supposed to receive a performance report from prometric center (As per IMA's instructions) and an update to your main profile, in order to know your weaknesses. That's what I didn't receive yet, which means they are not so precised in dates as you are assuming.
    .
    Anyhow, I am wondering why most of candidates (Especially students & fresh graduates) are so tensed about result "date" rather than sharing their exam experience & useful tips ..!!! 
    I think this group has been purposely created to share knowledge, useful insights and professional expertise rather than chatting on such "dates" issue.

    I believe the corona Virus could impact the result date as we have seen there is an emergency situation developed in USA due to outbreak of corona virus , Still I hope to receive result till next week

    Fair point. But, what I understand from all the messages coming from this thread is that the delay is normally due to additional time required to grade the essay answers.

    This exam does not have any manual process and everything is done online. I believe the valuers can access the data from cloud anywhere they're stationed. So, ideally should Corona scare majorly impact the result publication process? Just food for thought 😀
