  • 1.  Gleim Exam Rehearsal

First off, I would like to share my idiotic moment this morning as I found out that I actually had scheduled my test 2 days earlier than I thought. So please do not follow my example and check your appointment date of when and what time you're actually scheduled for the test. Hopefully, your Prometric center did not try to re-schedule your test because of what's currently happening in the world.

At any rate, I had a question about the Gleim Exam Rehearsal Part 1. As I was taking the MCQ of the Exam, I just felt that it was TOO EASY.
I actually did not feel good about it as I feel that it was way too easy/felt relaxes and I didn't want to feel comfortable. I ended up with a passing 83/100 on the MCQ. Mind you that I haven't been doing well on their chapter quizzes.

Did anyone try to attemp their Exam Rehearsal and how did they do on it comparing to the ACTUAL test? Did anyone pass the exam rehearsal but then failed on the actual Pract 1 test?
    Thanks for your insight.

I didn't use Gleim, so I can't comment on your question specifically.  However, be sure to review the CMA support package.  This contains actual, retired CMA questions (lots of them!).  This will give you a really good gauge as to where you stand.

Everyone that registers for the exam gets this support package.  I didn't realize it until late in my studies.  To retrieve it, go to the IMA's website > myIMA > My Orders > Digital Content Access.

    Good luck!

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for sharing the access to the digital content; I didn't realize it was out there.

Yes.  The .pdf file I received was quite lengthy, but check the table of contents for where the answers start.

    Hi Anna,

Isn't it a good thing that you find it easy? It means your understanding is very good and you should be confident that you are prepared to pass the exam. I think all review materials are only using the same set of questions which were published in the past. So I think there is no need for you to get so many reviewing materials, unless of course you still have a lot of time to review.  I think most of us don't do very well in chapter quizzes but then get better result in mock exams - it's the learning curve :-)

If it makes you feel better, you can try another 2 mock exams and see how you do. But be confident and trust your review materials. If you have a deep understanding of the topics, you will pass your exam. Good luck!
