I had the same question a few weeks ago and reached out to IMA. Here is their response: 

Results for the Part 1 and Part 2 examinations will be emailed to participants approximately 6 weeks after the end of the month in which you take the exam.

For an exam taken in January, this puts grade result release at around Mid-March.

Note: IMA does not provide a targeted release date.  

The subject line of the notification email will be "ICMA Examination Results". Be sure to check your Inbox and also your Spam and Junk folders because sometimes messages of this type are sent to these folders.

Grades will also be posted in your Transcript at the same time. To obtain your exam results, log into the IMA website www.imanet.org  and click on the myIMAlink on the upper right hand corner of any screen. 

Once you are in myIMA, you will see a blue box on the left hand side of the screen titled myCourses and Transcripts. Click on the box and then click "Exam Scores".

 Candidates who fail the exam will receive a written performance report by email. Prometric will email the Performance Reports directly to candidates approximately 2 weeks after the grades are posted.

After reading some of the responses on your post, I am confused. Are we suppose receive the results 6 weeks after the end of test window or as of the end of the month we took the exam?
