  • 1.  Question About Registered for Exam Part 1 and Study Materials

    Hello everyone,

    I am newly registered to the IMA and would like some clarification. When I register for part 1 of the exam, are the study materials for the courses that I need to read to pass the exam included with the registration? If not, do I have to purchase additional materials to learn the concepts for the exam? Thank you!

    Hey Adrian,

    I believe as part of the registration the IMA provides you a sample test with some retired questions but they don't provide you with any educational material on the actual concepts. If you need to review the concepts you should look into a review course that suits your needs. They also usually offer a discount on the fees for the exam so you may want to look into that. I can't speak on all of the review courses but I really liked Gleim's review course. I passed Part I and am waiting on the results of Part II.
