    I'am planning to write Part 1 exam in this May - June window. Can you please explain me about the question pattern both essay and multiple choice questions? As this is my last chance I'am struggling hard as I scored 330 and 340 in my previous attempts.

    Hi Dilshada,

    It is hard to say that, explaining the exam pattern will never has any positive impact if you didn't prepare yourself very well. Since you had (2) tries before so you should be more familiar with exam requirements better than anybody else.
    Anyhow, I have posted an article about important live exam tips, you may find some help & guidance if you reed it. Besides that, I totally recommend you to pay more attention on the following points:
    1. Focus only on IMA Learning Outcome Statements, know by heart every definition, concept importance, pros & cons.
    2. Practice & practice & practice MSQs and essays as much as you can, giving more focus on hard topics you may struggle with.
    3. Master exam "Time" management by repeating simulated exam test included in your course provider's platform (case you have)
    Never give-up .. Challenge it .. Get ready .. You will pass it

    Hi Dilshada,
    Keep trying, you are very close. 
    You only need 360 points to pass.

    I took Part 1 on 2/29, and waiting results.
    After I completed the MC section, the screen showed 90% completed. Hoping for good results on the essay section also.

    The MC section, about half the questions are theoretical, and half require computations. I would keep practicing questions from an online Test Bank for more review.

    I am using CMA Exam Academy's website online.
    Their test bank access, is $199.00, for 1 year of access, with over 1,200 sample questions, and 25 essay simulations.
    I completed around a quarter of all their test bank questions, and all the MC questions I received on my Part 1, were very similar to their test bank practice questions.

    All I did receive my results on Monday and I too passed! It has been crazy here in the US especially in education which is my field and I hadn't had an opportunity to get on and post! I've fallen behind on part 2 studies but hoping I can get back on track soon. I am hoping the may/June window will still be available.
