  • 1.  Part 1 exam scoring

    Hi everyone,

    I am just wondering about the Part 1 exam scoring.
    It is said that 75% is the passing score for the MCQs excluding the essay part. 

    What if the MCQ score were 75% or less than that but the essays' let's say 20%, would that be quality for passing grade?

    In order to pass the CMA exam, it is not necessary to pass each individual section (MCQs/Essay). If the overall marks of the candidate are equal to the passing marks, the candidate is declared pass.

    You MUST obtain a score of 50% or better to get a chance to  proceed to the essay section of the exam.

    You have to attain a score of 50% and above in the MCQ section to even get a chance of proceeding to the essay section.
