  • 1.  Part 2 Exam

    Hi Everyone,

Has anyone written the part 2 exam recently?
I found it to be difficult. The level has been upped as there were as many long numerical questions along with theoretical questions.
Although, I did reach the essay section and the essay was easier. I am not confident that I will pass this exam. I needed the full 3 hours to tackle the 100 MCQ. On 2 questions, I have just randomly selected the answers because there was no time to solve the questions. It was a very extremely difficult 3 hours.

Is anyone in the same boat? I am thinking perhaps; I would have to appear for a retake. What should a study plan look like now? I studied from Wiley and was averaging well in the mock exams.  I had written over 7 full exams.  If anyone wants to talk further, please inbox me.
    Thank you for reading,
    Sanobar

hey brother, just wanted to say that we're on the same boat. i passed part 1 first try and took part 2, two weeks ago. the exam was way harder. i was so confident that the essay part won't even open but it did. i gained hope and put all my effort in the essay questions and walked out.

in my opinion, you should be optimistic because once you reach the essay question that means you're still in the game. in addition, the pass rate for part 2 about 10% higher which raises your chance of passing. lastly, when the exam is harder the total overall points of getting the mcq questions right are higher than an easy one, meaning 1 question in a hard exam could equal 1.7 points while 1 question in an easy exam could equal 1.2 for example.

keep your head up brother and hope for the best and if you didn't pass it's okay, just see where you were weak at and kill the exam.

    Hi,

I took the exam today and had exactly the same experience! I scored 80 in the mock exam and averaged consistently well in the study platform.
The multiple choice exercises on today test  were much more complex in terms of needed calculations than those on the practise platform and with long descriptions and data.

I am not so optimistic on the outcome either.
