I'm beginning the process to learn and research more about how management accountants will pave the way to the future of building accounting systems on the blockchain. The blockchain technology is something I'm still struggling to understand and wrap my head around, and I think that my research findings will be useful to other accountants interested. I'm using this space to post my questions to ChatGPT and what was outputted as a resource thread around the topic of blockchain and management accounting. For my initial post, I would like to set a baseline what is the blockchain, benefits and the terminology used when referring to the system.
