We're excited to launch the Performance Management Shared Interest Group (SIG) with the Institute of Management Accountants.

The SIG addresses the "Performance Management Problem": even with advances in management theory, behavioral science and technology, many organizations still struggle to implement strategy, waste a lot of time on planning and budgeting, and find it hard to course-correct when targets are not met.

The SIGs mission is to provide business professionals with though leadership, a forum for exchange and best practices on performance management so they can act as experts to help improve the performance of their organizations.

This will be achieved through:

  • The discussion forum on this site
  • Events, like webinars and round tables
  • Publications

There will initially be three areas of focus:

  • Best Practice Performance Management
  • Improving Performance
  • Implementing Strategy & Measuring Performance

Together we explore this fascinating field. We want your input, irrespective if you're an expert, academic, career-starter or student. Join the SIG to post in our discussion board, and to get all the latest news and updates. Anyone can join the SIG: If you're not an IMA member you can register for a free account.

If you would like to have an active role in the SIG as a moderator, champion or lead, do reach out to us. We're just getting started and can use all the hands and particularly great minds we can get.

We look forward to insightful discussions with you!
